In 2002 at the height of the "Pedophile" priest campaign by the media, I did a survey of the teacher-as-sexual-abusers stories in the media. For one month, I researched online stories. I was shocked at what I found. So pervasive is the problem that it is called "Passing the Trash" by educators. (see May 16, 2002 story)
