Bayonet Point Middle School, FL - Teacher sentenced - January 5, 2002 James Christopher Howard, now 42, pleaded guilty to having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old special education student. He was sentenced to eight years in prison. Howard was a teacher for 11 years. He has a 15-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter. On Friday, his wife, Linda, reaffirmed her support for her husband.
