Beith, 28, and a 11-year old student he coerced to run away with him that asks the question "Can you trust your children with their teachers?" A link to a subsequent story reveal that Beith was arrested in 1990 and was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor after being caught partially undressed with a 15-year-old girl. He became Liberty Baptist's principal in 1998 when his father resigned after being arrested for allegedly soliciting a male undercover police officer for oral sex, and that charges against both Beith and his father were dismissed after they received counseling.
FOLLOWUP: March 21,2001 San Diego Union Tribune reports that the "former Baptist school principal" may change his plea to avoid trial. Source of their story.
