Houston, TX Out of Bounds May 21, 2002
Focusing on sex between the secondary school students and coaches, the Houston Chronicle in this May 21, 2002 report clearly has an agenda.
A three-month study by the Chronicle found more than 60 instances in the last four years in which Texas high school and middle school coaches lost their jobs as a result of allegations of sexual misconduct involving students or other minors.
Attributing the problem to good ol' boy" network, the Houston Chronicle infers that the coverup is to spare men exposure when they misbehave. That makes it an ol' boy network, however, the network is not exclusively male. It's an education establishment.
