Orange Co. CA High School teacher arrested --- May 17, 2002
Michael Karl Sandoval, 49, a ceramics teacher at Santa Margarita Catholic High School, Orange Co, CA, was arrested for molesting a girl under age 14. He had checked himself into a psychiatric ward before being arrested. Sandoval had been a faculty member at Santa Margarita for seven years after transferring from a Roman Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Investigators believe he may have molested other children.
